CUET UG 2024 Exam: Delhi Center Postponed, Other Locations Remain Unaffected

In a recent development concerning the Common University Entrance Test (CUET) for undergraduate admissions in 2024, the National Testing Agency (NTA) has announced that while the exam in Delhi stands postponed, it will proceed as scheduled in all other cities nationwide, including Gurugram, Ghaziabad, Faridabad, and Noida, as well as abroad.

While the CUET UG 2024 exam in Delhi has been postponed, the NTA has clarified that undergraduate entrance exams scheduled on other dates (May 16, 17, 18) at all centers, including those in the national capital, will proceed as planned. This distinction reflects the agency’s nuanced approach to exam management, taking into account various factors such as location-specific circumstances and public health considerations.

In a related development, the NTA had initially announced the release of admit cards for the CUET UG 2024 exam on May 13. However, in a subsequent notice, the agency requested candidates to download their hall tickets only after May 14 evening. This adjustment in the release schedule emphasizes the NTA’s commitment to ensuring that candidates have access to accurate and up-to-date information regarding the examination process.

As students and stakeholders navigate these developments, it is essential to remain vigilant and adaptable to any further announcements or changes. The postponement of the CUET UG 2024 exam in Delhi serves as a reminder of the fluid nature of the pandemic and the importance of agility and responsiveness in managing academic activities effectively.

To accommodate the diverse schedules of candidates and ensure a smooth conduct of the CUET UG 2024 exam, the National Testing Agency (NTA) has organized the examination into four shifts. Shift 1A will run from 10 am to 11 am, followed by Shift 1B from 12:15 pm to 1 pm. Subsequently, Shift 2A will commence at 3 pm and conclude at 3:45 pm, while Shift 2B will take place from 5 pm to 6 pm. This meticulous scheduling aims to optimize the examination process, providing candidates with flexibility and convenience while adhering to rigorous testing standards.
